“You are raising tree huggers”

We went on a quest to find a tree to be our friend-getting to know it, listen and maybe even hug. The place we went was the USU extension arboretum. We had a moment in the tunnel finding the harmonic vibration that was a highlight for me. Another was racing my son across a field and feeling alive and strong.

Memories

  1. AIM had there end of term showcase with Eli and Della participating in a musical theatre production of trolls. It was so much fun and ”happy.”

  2. We had an art hour stretching our attention and creative flow. It ended up being a blissful time.

  3. Everyone has a writing project they are into. Della is typing her book and the boys have elements of magical worlds, orphaned heros, pirates and treasure.

  4. Caroline soaked up her 11, 12, and 13 math partners and feels confidence and joy.

  5. Olive decided she wants to be called her first name, “Emma.” I’m hoping we can just combine them. There are so many Emma’s.

  6. Cole loves the intensity of the Olympics.

  7. Valentine‘s Day we had our neighbor over for sugar cookies and play dough.

  8. Eli invited his friends to an ice skating activity. It ended up a big mess of miscommunication, but everyone had such great attitudes.

  9. Gluten free has changed Della’s eczema so drastically. It is incredible. Her skin is healing. It has been a concern for many years. I have so-much to learn about how to bake and prepare gluten free options.

  10. I am reading a book with my husband that is opening my mind to the heart of conflict and the power of seeing others as people, following the nudges of our heart and choosing our focus.
