Bring up your children in light and truth

Why is my home education called William and Winona Studio?  Well, if you are a Squires cousin you will recognize that William and Winona are our great-grandparents. William had a talent for managing a large farm during the depression, supporting his family as well as his brothers. He used his mathematical gifts to bless others. His daughter, my grandmother would often mention how she inherited her father's knack for numbers. My great-grandmother on the other hand struggled with math, but had a passion and love for poetry, writing, reading and words. I want to honor their memory and legacy through our school. Education is about becoming the person we were meant to be and bless the world with our talents and work. My hope is that while we are all working on educating in a changing complex world we can find joy and purpose.
