A sweet memory this week was creating a vision with Della's ukulele goal. We thought about how music can bless our lives with joy. We brainstormed the kinds of music Della likes and her interests in writing her own songs. Eli has a vision of being a good cellist, but this week realized it was hard work. Yes, talents take work to develop. He will listen to cellists and enjoy the fruits of handwork. We all need inspiring moments to keep it up. Cole, after being thoughtful about his goals, decided he probably just needs to focus on playing. It is true that playing is so worthwhile and many skills are developed such as cooperation, leadership, creativity and responsibility. Of all the children, he is the one who never tells me he is bored.
Caroline cut her hair. She loved making tiny cinnamon crepes and is sleeping better. Caroline really enjoyed decorating for fall.
Olive has a high pitched prolonged squeal and great morning smiles.
