What a week. We had a lovely Labor Day with a family potluck and amazing spring rolls, just to rush home and prepare for a BIG storm. The study on weather fit well because we had extreme winds and power outage for two days. We had no heat and it got cold, so we cuddled up and did extra reading on stars, explorers and Swallowdale. Dance and Nature Club were cancelled. Screen time limited by battery power. We were blessed not to have more damage and the power was repaired before we lost all the food from the freezer. Some events not pictured are the yard clean up, nature journaling, writing, the poetry brownie party, the Spanish lesson and the exercising indoors when we couldn't go outside safely.
