We started the week with a long hike to the beautiful mountain. Cole said, "You have got to see this view." We had a nature study with our new friends and did not mind the chill. The week ended with cousins and some good dress up Halloween fun. Della has been writing her own ukulele songs, Cole composed his and Eli is not giving up on the hard task of strengthening his fingers to play his cello. Our new passion is drawing. The children have watched tutorials and now are doing their own step by step instructions for each other. Cole had an assignment to cook with pumpkin, so we had pumpkin cookies, pumpkin syrup and pumpkin pancakes- all of which are new family favorites. One sweet part of the week was going to the library and being reminded of our library in New Mexico. I am so grateful for books and libraries.
