We had some fabulous moments.
1. Caroline started a gymdance class that was so impressive. I one class I could tell the movements were purposeful, the environment was so kind and the structure and pace rich and fun.
2. Swimming lessons are going well. Each child is learning to breath. Caroline will jump in front crawl until she blows out all her bubbles; then, she will turn over and float on her back, followed by back crawl strokes across the pool.
3. We read the end of our middle ages book. We were behind. We learned about the reformation, counter reformation, King Henry the 8th, the renaissance, Gutenberg, Copernicus, Galile, Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth the 1st.
4. Our science study shifted to the Grand Canyon, volcanos and Wesley Powell. We read a bit more about chicken breeds. 5. Math and a language arts are in a groove. I like the way copy-work and dictation are showing results in spelling retention. Caroline is loving her math and reading lessons.
6. AIM is always so positive. Della just adores her choir. Eli and Cole did a weaving art project. Eli and Della learned an Irish folk dance. Team building was an escape room for Eli and his friends. Caroline had a poetry tea party and art projects. Della is learning about codes like the Navajo code talkers and the caesar cipher.
7. We had a music night with some friends were each child preformed. It was great to each each other on and enjoy music.
