Spring is here.
I have been feeling a make-more —friends-hunger. This week I found some people.
We read The Year of Miss Agnes. What a fabulous story of a teacher and the joy of learning. I am inspired to create a timeline, make stories for Caroline to read and continue the art, stories, music, nature and poetry.
We finished The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. I felt so inspired to listen for a dream, a cause or a way to help someone.
The blue heron, the song of a sand-bill crane, the hooded warbler and the four bald eagles made birding magical.
Our friends were in a production of Peter Pan at the local community theater. We laughed in delight, clapped because we believe in fairies and thought things lovely.
Half the grapes are pruned. I need to navigate teaching work is good and not drudgery.
Della is wanting more independent study. We created a plan and she is working with a better attitude.
St. Patrick’s day traditions were good. I want to create sticky memories.
Adventuring. I love the connection as a family over the busy extra-curricular activities. We need to find the right balance. Gymnastics, martial arts, ballet, track, swimming, clubs and music lessons feels full. I like slow living.
The Aggies made it to the NCCA tournament.
