Week 13 Log

The chill stayed. Sunshine slowly ate away at the snow. We had major strides made in our remodel room with the children helping to sand. For Veteran’s Day we read the poem about Flanders’s Field and then made lego poppies. For our poetry tea party we had yummy snickerdoodles and wrote limericks. We read Little Lord Fauntleroy and The Doorman’s Repose. Our daily history lessons have been about people and events that led the way to the American Revolution like The French and Indian war, Samuel Adams, James Otis, Crispus Attucks, and Benjamin Franklin. We studied volcanos, cave formations and the layers of the earth.
