Layer upon layer of understanding creates ripples effects and changes in our education. As my children grow, natural shifts follow.
This year we will shift to a morning together time and more leveled science and history. This means more independent learning for my middle school children.

I like this painting. The mountains go on and on. Each year is a story, a mountain of beauty and experience.
Values:
Heart- music, poetry, story, art, nature study
Mind- math, science labs, composition, reading, digital literacy
Spirit- sit spot, gratitude, scripture passage, memory work, motto
Body- hydration, sunshine, sleep, work, nourishment, breath-relaxation, hygiene, safety
Social- problem solving, emotional intelligence, communication skills, awareness and kindness
Motto:
1. I am a child of God with power to think, create, act and love. Certainly God is with me.
2. I can become pure and proven through Christ. I choose to change my thoughts from things that harm or worry me to beautiful things.
3. I ought to be true to the kindred points of heaven and home.
4. I will do the right thing, even when it’s not what I want, this is my living sacrifice of heart and spirit.
Rise on the stepping stones of our old selves to higher things.
-St. Augustine
