Poetry Party

Updated: Jun 28, 2020

Perhaps this one is everyone's favorite because we make it so sweet-it is our party.

We enjoy the homemade treat we made together and gather around with poems to share, a Shakespeare lesson and recitation of past poems we learned by heart for our hearts.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words. -Robert Frost

Writing Poetry

I model writing a poem and we write and share and savor. When I hear my children say something poetic, I jot it down and point it out.
