On any adventure, preparation has significant impact. Through thoughtful planning crisis can be avoided, comfort and peace of mind secured, and excitement and motivation built up. We are going on a family trip to see old friends, family hometowns, historic and nature landmarks and the ocean. To prepare we are learning about the oceans, Oregon Trail, Lewis and Clark, Native American tribes, and grandma’s childhood stories. Writer’s notebook:
