“I’ve never had a bad birthday!” - Caroline

Caroline counted the days until her birthday from Christmas. When Cole prayed for her to have a good birthday she said the above Quote.

This week has been so full-so full Eli was bemoaning his lack of time to watch screens. It is a good thing to have better things to do than watch shows, I believe, but he has yet to be convinced. What was the week full of? Celebrating birthdays and Valentines. We managed swimming, hiking, dance, basketball, a Lunar New Year Party for some while others went to a Jazz game. I was able to attend a mother’s group which fed my soul and taught be beautiful things about the power of stories.

Our hike was epic. Over and over we slipped and got cold muddy hands, but I could see the strength growing as we pressed on and helped each other. There was a glacier, five bridges, a swing and some singing when we could have cried. I am so grateful for a friend who does hard things, listens to my stories and understands. What a beautiful blessing it is to be understood.
