Take-aways

  1. Read lots of stories to experience the joys of living in all sorts of places throughout all sorts of times

  2. Sketch pictures from imagination from stories being read aloud

  3. Ask, "why." The skill of inferencing relies on imagination.

  4. Play pretend, dress-ups, write plays, act out stories. Role play courage, kindness and service.
