Habits are built on beliefs of identity. I want to believe that I am a calm, confident, inspired mother. Then, my reactions to triggers could be softer and slower. I am envisioning a deep well of love to quench fiery moments.
Between the solar eclipse and the lunar eclipse has been two weeks of world conflict and decision. During these two weeks an apostles encouraged the youth to be intentional about creating a vision of the person they want to become and make goals and plans for fulfilling their purpose and developing their talents. I likewise have been pondering my purpose in the roles I have in my homeschool communities. I am so grateful for the supportive capable friends that are amazing in the loving service they offer. What will next year bring? My hope is a Charlotte Mason study group, smaller nature groups and an 18 family Studio School cooperative in a bigger space.
Until then, November is a month of challenges. The NaNoWriMo, PBS reading and our scouting weather log. We have recitals and concert preparation, basketball and family gathering times.
