This week we woke up early to do math and music. Then, we went to a wooded park for two and a half hours to participate in a Coyote Camp. There were over a hundred children, mentors, jr. Mentors, spring snakes and snails. Some days were hot and some cold. I was able to mentor a group of 13 nine year olds.
Here is my plan.

Things I learned or want to learn…
Ask more questions during storytelling
plan a scavenger hunt with significance to their stories, sit spots and what we learned
learn group games
learn camp songs
they loved wandering-give boundaries
nature names-one word
watercolors would work
be willing to stop and listen when the excitement is high
